The Origins

My great-grandmother Melide, born in 1899, bought this house after the Second World War. A strong woman with a gentle soul, she ran a grocery store for many years.

A Family Tradition

Her daughter Lina, my grandmother, cycled through the valleys in search of the finest products to sell. In summer, they offered vegetables that they had painstakingly cultivated on the Reit. The delicious cheeses were aged and stored in the splendid cellar right beneath us.

Our Commitment Today

Times have changed, but I carry with affection the memory of Melide, who taught me that work is important and nothing should ever be wasted.

The bar has been furnished with reclaimed materials found in the cellar and attic, and seeing it come back to life brings me joy.

With love and simplicity, I wish to breathe new life into these old walls, respecting the simple spirit they carry with them, with the idea of preserving it over time and passing it on to the generations to come.
