The Elvio Cogno winery produces the great wines of the Langhe, managing approximately fifteen hectares of its own vineyards in Novello. These hills are renowned for their history, culture, and beauty, and were recently recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site. Cogno is the most important winery, recognized for the ability of its wines to withstand time, maintaining their aromas and freshness. Inspired by the name of the hill on which mating partridges build their nests, Barolo Bricco Pernice is the latest product from Cogno: the result of much hard work and years of work. Ruby in color, tending towards garnet, Intense notes of violet are perceived on the nose. On the palate, it is harmonious and very structured, with crisp yet fine and sweet tannins.
