Domenico Clerico's Barolo Ciabot Mentin is produced from grapes grown on 50-year-old vines located in the Ginestra cru in Monforte d'Alba, at 440 meters above sea level. It is a Barolo of great class and elegance, acquired through long maturation in barriques and large barrels (30 months) and in bottle (2 years). On the nose, it displays intense aromas of red fruit and jam with sophisticated hints of spice and licorice. On the palate, it is powerful, intense, and enveloping, with lively tannins and a very long finish.
