Valtellina

Barbacàn's Valtellina Superiore DOCG "Valgella Fracia", a blend of Chiavennasca and Rossola grapes, comes from vineyards grown between 500 and 560 meters above sea level. The result of long macerations, it ages in wood for 24 months, and is neither filtered nor clarified. It is an expressive red with a strong territorial character. A deep ruby ​​color, it is rich and elegantly complex on the nose, with notes of red berries, violets, pepper, and licorice standing out in particular. On the palate, it is vigorous, energetic, and has a very long finish.
