Perhaps one of Lorenzo's most accomplished wines. True, the Valtellina red is a simple wine, but the gentle winemaking process, the smoothness of the palate, and the characteristic acidity make it a marvelous wine for its stylistic precision and sincerity. The 22nd vintage makes it immediately drinkable.
