Piemonte

Giuseppe Rinaldi's 2013 Barolo Tre Tine, produced at the historic winery in Barolo, Piedmont, is a pure Nebbiolo from the Ravera (60%), Le Coste, and Cannubi San Lorenzo crus (20% each). The grapes, grown on calcareous-clay soils, are vinified with traditional fermentation in wooden vats and aged for 36 months in large Slavonian oak barrels. The wine is garnet red in color and offers aromas of blue flowers, roses, berries, and leather. On the palate, it is ethereal and elegantly structured, with smooth tannins and a bright acidity, promising a long evolution over time.
